Why Not
Just Use A WordPress Blog?
While
WordPress is an awesome blogging platform, it simply doesn’t
take into account the specialized nature of info-product sales
page management and page creation.
Here are a
few points to illustrate:
Many of the PLR
and resale rights products available today come with their own
ready-made graphics and sales letters. If you have ever
tried to copy and paste the content from the HTML templates
these products provide into a WordPress installation, I’m sure
that you already know the frustration that occurs with all of
the alignments being shifted, fonts being altered and tables
being broken.
Almost all
WordPress templates, although very attractive, don’t quite
meet the requirements for any student of direct-mail
marketing. The usually come with a menu bar that leads to
various other pages, posts, blogrolls and so on. While this
is ok for an informational site, it’s an absolute profit
killer. Sales letters should have zero distractions from the
headline to the order button.
In most
instances, you are also locked into one particular theme if
you attempt to use a blogging platform to index all of your
sales letters. Each sales letter is then forced to share
the same “theme” with the rest of the sales letters or content
on your site. Clearly, this is not ideal. For certain topics
you may need to evoke a mysterious atmosphere with some dark
page background and with another you may need to evoke a sense
of openness with a completely different color scheme.

How Does

Ebook” and create several pages under that project such as
